As we photograph each beautiful soul we like to ask them for their personal story and their experience so that we can share it with other women, like yourself, to help inspire them to be bold and embrace their beauty!
Remember! Even though we enjoy sharing the stories of our Senzual women, it does not mean that you are required to share your photos nor story. Some women decide that they only want photos for themselves to privately cherish forever and that is perfectly fine as well!

What's your story?
I work in operations management and have two teenage children that I raised by myself. I have had a series of unsuccessful relationships in the past and for the first time in my life, I find myself unattached and able to focus on myself. I have started my personal growth and wellness journey in the last couple of years and have always been intrigued by boudoir photography. Having professional photos taken has been on my bucket list, and with the added bonus of being in the best shape of my life and feeling the most confident I've felt in years, I jumped on the opportunity!
I felt insecure, nervous as hell, and scared!

How I felt before taking the photos…
Insecure, nervous as hell, and scared! Self-conscious and not confident that they would turn out like I pictured them in my head.
Why I decided to take the photos…
It’s something I have wanted to do for myself for a long time and the opportunity presented itself so I decided to go for it!
My fears about the photos…
The same as everyone’s fears when taking very raw, unfiltered, and personal photos. The fear of not liking what you see or feeling inferior or self-conscious if/when others see them.
During the photoshoot ~
How I felt during the shoot…
Shaun made what potentially could have been a very awkward situation into a fun, playful, and uplifting environment. I felt completely at ease and very sexy.
What surprised me about the shoot…
How easy it was to forget about all of the insecurities and just have fun!
My confidence has grown, my self-esteem is higher, and I just love them! This shoot is a memory I will cherish forever.
After the photoshoot ~
Seeing my photos for the first time…
I was blown away. I’m pretty sure I cried a little! They were beautiful. The way Shaun was able to capture the small things that mean so much to me; my heirloom diamond necklace, the beautiful outfits, and even the weather was so complimentary to the shoot!
How this has changed me…
I never really felt very sexy or beautiful but this experience and the photos that I get to keep forever have really changed my perception of myself. I would do it again in a heartbeat!
Seeing myself in a new light…
My confidence has grown, my self-esteem is higher, and I just love them! This shoot is a memory I will cherish forever.
